I hope this represents a tipping point. Yes, Rush can still deliver a significant audience, but the wise advertiser has to consider the implied endorsement that advertising on a given show represents. Is it really worth alienating sane and decent people in order to reach an audience of ignorant bigots, however large? I would think not, and I’m pleased that corporate PR people are finally vetoing the ad buyers who covet the sexist yahoo demographic that Rush excels at delivering.
