		<description>I suppose their dogma is no more implausible than that of any devout monotheist, but I have special contempt for devout believers of Hubbard&#039;s unique brand of nonsense.  Is it mere bias on my part, or is it rational to easily forgive Graham Greene&#039;s Catholicism, for example, but to be reluctant to forgive Campbell&#039;s fervent embrace of Dianetics?

New religions have a disadvantage in that their outrageous claims are less familiar than those of old religions, but I still can&#039;t shake the conviction that there&#039;s a more profound silliness in being a Scientologist than there is in being a Jew, Christian, or Muslim.</description>
